A double room in Stuben am Arlberg, cleverly planned

16 to 18 m² is enough when everything has its place. Your jacket and gloves hang in a heated wardrobe and are dry by morning. Everything else goes into an open wardrobe behind a loden curtain. Guests mention two things above all: the quiet and the well-thought-out layout.

You sleep in a double bed made of Swiss pine, with oak underfoot. The bathroom has a shower. The indoor climate carries the klima:aktiv GOLD label.

A view of the Flexen

Most rooms in the house face south-west. The Smart Doubles don't: their panoramic window looks towards the Flexen. There is one exception. Room 208 has a smaller window that doesn't reach the floor.

Skiing on your own

Coming to the Arlberg alone? Book the Smart Double for one person. You spend the day on the mountain and need the room for the night. With half board your table is reserved in the evening: four courses, and the menu changes every day.

If you don't know the terrain yet, the hotel can arrange a private ski and mountain guide. In the evening the bar is open from 4 pm to midnight, and on Fridays a DJ plays until 2.30 am at Electronic Friday.

From your room to the slopes

Your ski boots spend the night in the ski room under the terrace, in your own locker with a boot warmer. The locker opens with your room key card. The Albona I lift is a three to four minute walk, and the gondola runs from 8.30. In the afternoon you ski back down to the village.

Want more space?

The Comfort Double has 22 m², a south-west window and a bathtub with a separate WC. For couples staying a week who like to spend the late afternoon in their room, it is the better choice. If you need the room for sleeping, stay with the Smart Double. Check availability.
