Family rooms at the Ski Hotel Mondschein
The Ski Hotel has three family units of 35 to 40 m². Each has two rooms with their own entrance door and a shared bathroom in between, with a shower and separate WC. Parents and children sleep apart and only share the bathroom.
Family Mondschein on the third floor takes up to four guests and has a walk-in wardrobe. Family Mondschein 5 also has a sofa bed and sleeps up to five. With one child, a Comfort or Panorama Double Plus with a sofa bed for three is often enough. A lift serves all room floors.
Suites at the Chalet and the apartment at the Motel
At the Mondschein Chalet, the 40 m² Alpine Suite has its own children's room with a bunk bed. The 55 m² Grand Alpine Suite has a sofa bed for two, a private sauna and a terrace with a hot tub on request. In the Panorama Spa Suite and the Signature Spa Suite a third person sleeps on the sofa bed. The Chalet is ski-in and ski-out, but has no guest lift inside.
At the Arlberg Motel the 100 m² Motel Apartment is the largest unit: a double bed, living room, kitchen, an extra room with a sofa bed and a terrace, for up to four guests.
Skiing with children from Stuben
The Stuben am Arlberg ski school offers group lessons and private lessons for children, and reception will sign your children up. You will find the Skibase Stuben rental shop right across the road from the Ski Hotel. The Albona I lift is a three to four minute walk, and in the afternoon you ski back into the village.
How the village is laid out and what you will find there is described on the page about Stuben am Arlberg. Everything about ski passes, rental and the ski room is under ski rental and ski pass.
Without skis, and in summer
In winter there is tobogganing, cross-country skiing, horse-drawn carriage rides and snowshoe walks from €45 per person. The Chalet is open all year. In summer a mountain guide takes families on tours from age 6, for €80 per person with five or more participants. A guided e-bike tour around Lech and Zürs is possible from age 10. Reception will help with trips into the Klostertal.
