Heli-skiing is allowed in only two places in all of Austria. Both are on the Arlberg, one lift ride from the Mondschein.

Licensed and limited
The flights are approved by the state government, fire service and environmental office, and strictly limited. The Mehlsack is for steep slopes in deep snow, the Schneetäli for confident skiers who want to enjoy the descent.
We organise it
The Mondschein team coordinates the guide, flight window, safety equipment and pick-up. If you would rather stay on your own skis, you will find the lines from Stuben under freeriding on the Arlberg.

Skiing on the ArlbergSkiing on the Arlberg starts in Stuben, a three minute walk from the Ski Hotel. The first gondola of the Albonabahn I leaves at 8:30. From the Albona you ski to Zürs and Lech, or to St. Christoph and St. Anton.
Ski Hotel MondscheinThe Ski Hotel Mondschein has stood on the same spot since 1739, founded as a rest house at the top of the pass. Today it is a four-star hotel, a three-minute walk from the Albona I lift.
