What skiers actually need

Comfortable rooms, a proper breakfast, fast wifi, an easy arrival and the lift almost at the door. Everything is built around one thing: more time on snow. From your room to the Albona lift takes less than 60 seconds.

Breakfast, and more next door

Breakfast is served in two breakfast rooms: fresh bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, egg dishes, coffee and tea. The Motel has no evening restaurant. Right next door is the Ski Hotel Mondschein with the Alte Gaststube, fondue evenings, the Chef's Table and the bar.

Where skiing began

Stuben is where Hannes Schneider developed the Arlberg technique, the foundation of modern skiing. A small village with an average of nine metres of fresh snow each winter. You do not just stay here, you ski where it all started.

Location is everything

Only 60 metres to the Albona lift, and that is exactly why people stay here. From the Albona lift you are connected to Lech, Zürs, St. Anton and St. Christoph, all on one Ski Arlberg pass. No transfer, no ski bus.

Three long descents from three mountain sectors end in Stuben, a few steps from the Motel:

  1. Descent 01, for advanced skiers

    Albona North Face

Freeride and powder, from around 2,400 down to 1,400 metres, about 1,000 vertical metres, finishing right in Stuben.

  2. Descent 02, piste

    Schindler to Stuben

Around 6 kilometres and 1,200 vertical metres, from high alpine terrain to the door of the Motel ski room.

  3. Descent 03, panorama route

    Zürs, Flexenbahn, Stuben

Via the Flexenbahn and the Flexen gallery from Zürs back to Stuben, without a car and without a bus.

Food and drink

Breakfast is included. In the evening you walk over to the Ski Hotel: Wiener schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn in the Alte Gaststube, fondue in the Bilderzimmer, the Chef's Table or a drink at the bar.
