Walk new paths and immerse yourself in the most secret corners of the Arlberg.

Ski touring on the Arlberg

Additionally to the 88 ski lifts and cable cars, the 305 km of ski runs and the  200 km of deep snow runs, the Arlberg offers a variety of wonderful ski tours with an impressive view of the mountain scenery. Calmy enjoy the winter landscape without any hustle and bustle. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced ski mountaineer, the Arlberg offers the right terrain for everyone.

A good assessment of the conditions requires constant observation of various factors such as wind influence, snowfall levels, temperature,  hoarfrost hidden under the snow, observation of avalanche risks, to name just a few. That’s why ski touring is associated with an increased risk and we strongly recommend to book a certified mountain and ski guide who knows the place for professional guidance. The ideal time of the year is March till April. On the one hand because of the corn snow (firn), and on the other hand because the days get longer and thus getting the warmth of spring.
