Simplicity
Nature and the needs of wintersports enthusiast will be particularly respected. It is important to us that the new rooms be adapted to the needs of the holiday maker. Attention will be paid to simplified (not minimalistic) design, functionality and harmony with the old. We intend to achieve an elegant alpine style using local materials, warm colours and soft textures.
Traditional
The facade will radiate once more. First we will insulate externally and then 800 sq meters of spliced-wood tiles be used to take the facade back to its original appearance.
Atmospheric
All 33 rooms have radiate anew.
5 Suites
15 Comfort double rooms
5 Panoarama double rooms
8 Smart rooms
Specifically there are now 9 room variations. The jewel in the crown will be the Mondschein Suite on the top floor, with its 4 Poster bed, Kachelofen (for you to personally light up) and panoramic window. All rooms will experience enlargement and gain emphasised interplay with the exterior as a result of new floor-to-ceiling windows.
Comfort
Particular care has been be taken to create a healthy room environment and sumptuous sleep comfort. All the beds have been replaced and built of local zirbe*. Light solid oak flooring will replace the carpeting.
Functionality
The heating in the rooms has been upgraded and include an ingenious adaption for warming your ski cloths overnight. All bathrooms and toilets will be renewed – new fittings, fixtures and effective lighting.
Last but not least, all rooms will have Wi-Fi, flat screen TV and iPod docking facilities. A mini-bar and open wardrobe system complete the picture.
Culture
Our aim is to create an atmosphere worthy of one of the oldest hotels in the Arlberg Region. We wish our guests should depart with the sensation of having participated in the life of one of austria’s greatest ski pioneers – Hannes Schneider.
We invite you to take a look at the sketch of our show room.
